Grape Picking and Eating

I went to Misaka Nouen Grape House in Yamanashi Prefecture to do grape picking.



A bus driver of the grape house take me to their grape farm. There are some grape trees. I was surprised by the fact that many grapes grows from only one tree. You can see that from the following picture.



If you pay 1,200 yen, you can eat grapes as much as you like with no time restriction. Grapes you can eat are like this.



I was fully satisfied with three buntch of grapes.

Observation Deck of Tokyo Sky Tree

I visited Tokyo Sky Tree twice in the past. However, I have never visited its observation deck because I had to wait hours to do so. I only visited shopping mall called Soramachi under the tower and looked up the tower.

I will visit the observation deck on a sunny day in the future.

Enjoy Sendai Tanabata Festival 2016

I visited Sendai city, Miyagi Prefecture on August 7, 2016.

The city took place Sendai Tanabata Festival near Sendai Station. The festival is held through August 6 to August 8. During the three days, about 2 millions people visit the festival.

I ate some local foods, local drinks, and watched some performance events such as dance and singing.

Feed Elephant

I visited Yagiyama Zoo in Sendai city, Miyazaki Prefecture yesterday. It was a  very hot day, so I sweated very much. At the zoo, visiters could feed some animals. I gave an elephant a piece of carrot. Thank you.

Enjoy Ekiben

 

I rode on a bullet train, or shinkansen, bound for Sendai at Tokyo station this morning. Before I left there, I bought "ekiben" at an ekiben store. Ekiben means foods put in a box (bento) and sold at a station (eki). I enjoyed it on the bullet train. It tasted great.

Travel to Sendai City

I am going to travel to Sendai city, Miyazaki Prefecture, tomorrow.

This trip is the first time for me to visit Sendai city. To make the trip more fun, I bought a guide book of Sendai yesterday.

The book introduces many good spots and foods of Sendai. I look forward to enjoying Sendai.

Few Pokestops in Rural Town

I visited my parents' house.

At that time, I launched Pokemon GO app and checked Pokestops around the house. I found one at distant place.

When I was near my own house, there were many Pokestops.

This is a difference between rural and urban areas.
